How do I setup a connection?
I still can't setup a connection.
- Double check the IP address
- Make sure that your devices are in the same sub-network
- Check if the firewall is blocking the Remote Control Server
- Whitelist port 1925, 1926 and 1927 in your router and firewall
Where do I find the servers IP address?
Open the server and switch to the 'Overview' screen.
Look at the label 'Server' - 'IP address'.
How can I right-click?
Touch the area to the right of the keyboard icon in the mouse remote
How can I scroll through websites?
Move your finger at the very right of your screen in the mouse remote or use two fingers and move them vertically.
Is the Server available for Mac or Linux?
No, currently only Windows is supported.
Can I connect via BlueTooth?
No, Wi-Fi only. If you need a network on the go, try
Connectify.
How can I uninstall the Server?
Open your System settings and select 'Uninstall a program'. Search for 'Remote Control Server' and click 'Uninstall'.
How can I update the Server?
Open the servers installation directory and run the 'Update' executable.
I'm not getting the latest Android app version.
The new versions require Android 4.0 (ICS) or higher. Older API levels can not be supported.
I can't start the server, says the .Net Framework is not available.
Install the latest version of Microsofts .Net Framework and restart your PC.
My mouse cursor is stuck in the top-left corner of the screen.
Run the server as Administrator. Open the servers installation directory, right click on the server executable and select 'Properties'. Switch to 'Compatibility' and check 'Run as Administrator'.
